Environmental Systems Technology & Research, Inc. (ESTR) develops wastewater treatment technology and systems for industrial and agricultural applications.
The production of small bubbles used to adhere to suspended solids is an integral part of most wastewater treatment systems. Smaller bubbles remove contaminants more efficiently, and ESTR's patented Hydro-Sparger™ injector produces the smallest bubble in the industry - by far. The Hydro-Sparger™ produces bubbles in the 0.5 - 5.0 microns range, compared to the current industry standard of 20 - 100 microns.

The ultra-fine bubbles produced by the Hydro-Sparger™ means there are more bubbles in suspension rising slowly to the surface. This increases the probability that the efficiency of your Dissolved Air Flotation System will increase as more suspended solids are removed.
Instead of an air compression system, the Hydro-Sparger™ requires only a small horsepower circulating pump for it's operation. It has the proven capability of injecting 86.2 pounds of oxygen per kilowatt-hour (KWH). This compares with competing systems that inject 1.1 to 9.8 pounds of oxygen per KWH. Your energy cost can be reduced by up to 90%.
The Hydro-Sparger™ injector design enables the passing of large bodies within the water stream without compromising injector performance. Thus, there are no clogged or fouled nozzles or filters to clean or replace.
With all of these benefits, ESTR, Inc.'s water treatment systems, through the use of its patented Hydro-Sparger™ injector, are the most efficient and cost effective wastewater treatment solutions on the market.
